This is so funny! I am a fan and fellow author (with not as much luck as you as of yet), and love reading your weekly posts. Your day sounds much like mine without the school process (my two little ones are younger). Thanks for the cute post!

Erin, I would love to watch Conveyor Belt of Love, but only if you are there to snort at it too.

Samantha, great tip! I never knew they sold brown paper like that. But now I am sold.

Carolyn, Chuck is my husband's favorite show!

Julie, I know. It's awesome. But I think the days are numbered, and the naps are usually 30-45 minutes each.

Sara, I know! Can you believe how lazy I am?

Heather S., I haven't seen that one yet! We are only on Season 2. But now I am so looking forward to it. I love Jack.

Julie, I wish!

Shelli, that made me laugh. We have forgotten fruit too. ;)

Becca, come on over!

Heather, it's good to know I'm not the only one forgetting lists.

Melissa, I think most schools here have that late start time. I love it.

Stacey, thanks for the blog award! I'm saving it away to use for a post later. :)

I don't believe a word of it, Ally! I know you really were off having lunch with your new BFF, Stephenie Meyer then shopping with Shannon Hale! You famous writers are like that!

Did you see the one where Jack gets bed bugs? Nearly died laughing during the scene wherein he asks for mercy and directions on the subway....so he can get his medicine.

Are you on YouFace? :)

Sorry...about Target(s)....just mail the books in ziplocs and duct tape. No one will think that is weird.

Oh man, I can so relate to you!! :-) Especially the forgetting the very reason you go back to the store thing, more than I'd like to admit! I waste so much gas running back and forth and back and forth everywhere. Sigh. Oh yeah, and probably not the running on the treadmill for 3 miles either, how do you do that?! Wow. I go to the gym instead for classes. I don't have the motivation to make myself keep going on a treadmill for longer than 20 minutes.
Isn't it crazy how busy it is trying to juggle being a mommy, a wife, a housekeeper, a writer, and anything else that comes up? Way to go! At least you fit in some TV, that never seems to happen for me... I've heard 30 Rock is funny. Maybe someday... (Although I will admit I did watch The Vampire Diaries on Hulu a couple times last fall when I just couldn't handle writing/reading anymore that day... sshhh don't tell :-) )

Oh come on Ally, you think you're busy? ;)

I do that all the time where I miss stuff at a store that I specifically went there for! I am a list girl...and even then...

I just love reading your weekly posts, so much that I gave you a blog award if you want an easy post for next week! ;) Go to my site (linked to my name) to check it out!

Oh, I haven't had a full night of sleep in 18 months either. My youngest has made sure of that:)

Wow, I didn't realize some schools take in so late. My oldest has to be at school by 7:50 and the middle one by 8:00. Since the schools are 20 miles from here, I have to leave by 7:20 every morning to get them there on time. Yeah, I live in the middle of nowhere.

Sounds all too familiar :) I usually forget the one important thing at the store. I make lists, but I either forget them at home or forget to read them at the store.
